This month, I’ll have the pleasure of accompanying a great Lady of Vocal Jazz, Kellylee Evans, as part of the Jazz Festival in Saint-Germain-des-Prés.
A multi-award-winning artist, considered one of the most beautiful voices of her generation, the Jamaican-Canadian singer is making her return to France after three years of absence. Kellylee Evans gave her last concert in October 2015, forced to stop the scene for health reasons. She had just released “Come On”, an album on the borders of jazz, soul and groove, and in 2018 received the Juno Awards Award for Best Jazz Vocal Album, the Canadian equivalent of the Grammy Awards.
Join us on May 16, 2019 at 8pm at the Amphithéâtre Richelieu of the Faculty of Letters of Sorbonne University for an exceptional concert on a soul and jazz repertoire arranged with electro sounds.
Don’t miss it !
